Overview
AR-2002F Super Durable Guard Tour Reader is the most recent upgrade of AR-2002S. The new model inherits most of the great attributes and advantages of AR-2002S, e.g. button-free card reading, shock and electronic shock resistant, and water-proofing, etc. The additional feature of AR-2002F is the LCD display, which supports guard tours further with electron clock, and display of the last four digits of the signal cards' ID-card being read.
Features
- LCD Display. Can be used as electron clock, and will show the last four digits of the ID-code of signal cards being read.
- Super-Durable Design. Aluminum alloy body, molded rubber shell. Silicone gel suspending and epoxy resin protect the internal electronics against strong impacts.
- Completely Waterproof. Sealed against liquids, workable under water.
- Resistant to Electrical Shock Damage. Able to withstand applied electrical voltage of over 1 million volts.
- Automatic Card-Reading. Detect and read signal cards without pressing buttons, making the unit easy to use.
- Wireless Data transfer. Upload reader data wirelessly. Does not consume energy from reader during transfer (using communication stations AS-1000, AS-2000, AS-3000, or AS-4000), making usage more convenient and the readers more resistant to damage.
- Energy Efficient. Last approximately 2 years with a single non-rechargeable 3v battery (CR123A).
- Reliable Flash Memory Data Storage. Use advanced Flash memory technology; do not lose data even when batteries run out. It can store 30,719 pieces of guard tour data. Competing products use battery-operated RAM, can lose all of their stored information once the batteries run out, and can only store a few thousand pieces of data.
- Make readings without contact. Can read from signal cards by holding the readers near them, not affected by dust, rain, snow, ice, or other environmental factors. Much more convenient than traditional readers that require precise contacts with information buttons, especially at night. Moreover, prolonged usage of traditional contact-type readers can cause the contact-points to wear out, and they are very difficult to use under adverse weather.
- Easy to Carry. The small size (140x42x30mm, 172±5g) and rubberized outer shell make carrying and operating easy and comfortable.
- Read EMID Signal Cards. Read the popular EMID signal cards, can be used at numerous installed systems including work-attendance checking, access control, fee collection, and parking management, etc.
- Long Reading Range. Can read from signal cards 3 to 6 cm away (see chart below).
